“In the year of the sun was the sun Eclipsed,

The sun of piety, knowledge and divinity.

The establisher of the path of Tijâniyya,

The riviver of the traditions of the Choicest of Adnan.

The servant of Allah, the Imam of the Maliki law,

And Affairs are for Allah for He is the Possessor.”
